Hypnobirthing is a specialised antenatal programme that teaches practical mindset skills for labour and birth. Through relaxation, self-hypnosis, breathing, visualisation, anchoring, and positive childbirth education, you'll develop the knowledge and tools to approach birth with greater calm and confidence, regardless of how your journey unfolds.
This work is centred around helping women feel informed, grounded, and connected to their own inner wisdom. I hold a strong belief that when women feel empowered in birth, it lays the foundation for a gentler, healthier beginning for both mother and baby, one that ripples forward into families, communities, and future generations.
This intimate six week group programme is limited to just four couples, creating a supportive and welcoming space to learn and connect with others preparing for birth. Together, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of hypnobirthing while learning practical techniques to release fear, deepen relaxation, and prepare for a positive birth experience.
You'll receive ongoing pregnancy support, a complete digital workbook, a copy of Positive Birth in New Zealand by Helen Bartrom, birth affirmation cards, and 16 guided audio tracks. The programme concludes with a beautiful group Birth Blessing Ceremony to honour your journey into parenthood.

I believe every woman deserves to feel supported, trust her body, and have the tools to navigate her unique birth journey. Through hypnobirthing, we'll build your confidence and learn practical techniques to support you through pregnancy and labour.
My own mother's experience with a traumatic birth and postpartum depression had a significant impact on my upbringing. It's why I'm passionate about helping women approach birth with less fear, greater trust, and the confidence to make informed decisions.
My hope is that you finish this series feeling more prepared, connected to yourself and ready to step into birth with confidence, whatever your journey may bring!
This programme is for expectant mothers and their birth partners who want to feel more informed, confident and prepared for birth.
Whether this is your first baby or you're preparing for another birth, hypnobirthing offers practical tools to navigate fear, build trust in your body and approach birth with a more positive mindset.
You don't need any previous experience with hypnobirthing, just an openness to learning and exploring new ways to prepare for birth.
Is hypnobirthing only for unmedicated births?
Not at all! Hypnobirthing offers practical tools to support your mindset, relaxation and comfort, whatever your birth preferences.
How is hypnobirthing different from traditional antenatal classes?
Traditional antenatal classes often cover a broad range of topics, from labour and birth to newborn care. Hypnobirthing focuses more specifically on preparing your mind and body for birth.
You'll explore how relaxation, breathing and mindset can support you during labour, alongside developing a greater understanding of your body's natural processes.
Do I need to know how to meditate or visualise?
Not at all! You don't need any previous experience with meditation, visualisation or relaxation techniques. Everything is introduced gently, and you'll have the opportunity to explore what feels most natural for you. There's no right or wrong way to practise. The goal is to find tools that work for you.
When is the best time during pregnancy to attend?
You can join at any stage of pregnancy. These sessions offer an opportunity to begin exploring practical tools for birth, whether you're early in your journey or approaching your due date.
Do I need any previous experience with hypnobirthing?
Not at all! These sessions are suitable for beginners, so there's no need to have any prior knowledge or experience.
What if my birth doesn't go to plan?
Birth doesn't always unfold the way we expect, and that's okay. Hypnobirthing helps you prepare for different possibilities, so you can approach changes with greater confidence and understanding.
You'll learn tools to help you stay grounded, ask questions and make informed decisions, even when things look different from what you originally imagined.
